The Beach Company announced that its affiliates acquired 5.93 acres of landin Greenvillefor a mixed-use redevelopment project.
The parcels, at North Main and Stone Avenue, will be used to construct a 292-unit apartment community with 20,800 square feet of complementary commercial space in the North Main neighborhood of downtown Greenville.
The project, called Main + Stone, will create an urban pedestrian epicenter connecting three historic Greenville neighborhoods, the East Park Historic District, the Colonel Elias Earle Historic District and Heritage Historic District.
The property will include buildings from two to four stories, which will wrap around a four-level parking structure discreetly located at the center of the property.
Construction on the Main + Stone project is scheduled to begin within the next 45 days.
