Trelleborgis building its first North American manufacturing facility dedicated to the manufacture of premium radial tires for the agricultural machinery in South Carolina.
The facility, to be located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, represents an investment of $50 million and will create around 150 jobs by 2018.
The 40,000 square meter / 430,000 square foot production facility will increase manufacturing capacity globally and locally ensure availability of Trelleborg premium tires quickly, both for original equipment manufacturers and tire dealers, the company said in a statement.
