Developments plans unveiled for 4-acre Greenville News property

Centennial American Properties will work together with Trammell Crow Corporation to develop the four-acre Greenville News property downtown.

The redevelopment plan includes a seven-story upscale hotel, 16 condos, two office buildings, retail and restaurant spaces, a dine-in movie theater and public plazas, reports Upstate Business Journal.

“We are very excited to present this initial site plan, which gives a great overview of our vision for this landmark property in downtown Greenville,” said David Glenn, founder and CEO of Centennial American Properties.

“It has a great mix of fresh new retail, office and residential space along with public plazas that offer connectivity and synergy with the Peace Center and Falls Park. Our team has worked hard to put together a plan that we feel will enhance and bring fresh energy to downtown Greenville with new entertainment opportunities, signature office space and contemporary in-town living.”

The plans will be reviewed at the city of Greenville Design Review Board meeting in January 2015.
