BOMAG Americas, a manufacturer of construction equipment, is establishing its North America headquarters in Fairfield County, reports The Associated Press.
The company is investing more than $18 millionand bringing 120 jobs to the area during the next five years, AP reports.
BOMAG Americas, a subsidiary of French company Fayat, makes milling machines, asphalt pavers and other road building equipment. The plant and office space will be located in Ridgeway.
Construction is expected to begin in March with the plant to be completed in October.
