Employers: Don’t Buy Employment Notices from Third Parties

Employers in South Carolina are required to post two employment notices from the South  Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (SCDLLR) in a place or  places where employees can see them. Several times throughout the year,  employers are encouraged to buy these posters from third party entities. The Carolina AGC says, “Don’t Buy Them.” The state provides them for free and they can be downloaded from  SCDLLR’s websiteRead More.

The Carolinas AGC also reports the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has launched an enhanced 511 Traveler Information System, providing traffic camera images, travel time estimates and other technological tools to help navigate the roadways in South Carolina. The system provides real-time traffic information and provides information on construction  projects, lane closures, crashes, congestion and severe weather affecting  traffic.
