Brasfield and Gorrie starts work on Falls Tower in downtown Greenville

Brasfield & Gorrie says it has begun construction on Falls Tower, a mixed-use structure within the Camperdown development in Greenville. The 17-story building will include seven floors of office space, accounting for 196,092 sq. ft. The building will also include 33,231 sq. ft. of retail/restaurant space, one floor of conference space, and 18 condominium units on the top five stories of the building.

“The Camperdown development continues to shape Greenville’s skyline,” said Brasfield & Gorrie vice-president and division manager Ben Barfield. “This important development will bring new opportunities to the city’s downtown, thanks in part to the partnership we have with Centennial American Properties (CAP) and the city of Greenville.”

“Falls Tower is a key part of Camperdown, as it will activate the space with energy and show off Greenville’s pride and joy,” said CAP president Brody Glenn. “The start of construction on Falls Tower is a key milestone for the partners invested in this development from Centennial American Properties to Brasfield & Gorrie and WCM Global Wealth.”

The general contractor is also working with CAP on other components of this mixed-use development, including a recently completed 629-space parking deck that will service the entire Camperdown project. Brasfield & Gorrie recently topped out an apartment structure on the site, developed by Daniel.

The contractor is collaborating with architect Wakefield Beasley & Associates.
