GSA Business reports that construction unemployment in October was flat in South Carolina compared with jobs figures recorded for September, according to an analysis of U.S. Labor Department data by the Associated General Contractors of America.
According to the trade group, 82,300 South Carolinians held construction positions in October, the same as in September. In a year-over-year comparison, the analysis showed that there were 300 more people holding construction jobs in October compared with the same month in 2013, representing an increase of 0.4%, the trade group added.
