Lovett Properties plans to build a 792-bed private dormitory near Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
The developer is seeking permission from city officials for this project, which includes the construction of 17 buildings, each containing either 36 or 48 four-bedroom units. The complex would include a total of 198 units, according to a news report by Columbia Business Report.
The complex, which would include a swimming pool, would be built on a vacant 25.74-acre site along National Guard Road and near University of South Carolina practice fields.
The project is subject to approval by the city officials.
